For the personal logo project, classes spend several weeks discussing graphic design, advertising and what makes a logo memorable, and how to make a statement in one small picture. The process of making revisions included peer reviews, which allowed students to practice giving and receiving constructive criticism.

We focused on communicating who we are and what we love/stand for in a simple, neatly drawn personal logo using a mix of colored pencil, watercolor, and sharpie markers. We then cut out and mounted these designs on black poster board to give them a clean, professional look the students were proud of.
