The Orchestra League hosts the annual “Color of Music” art contest in which students listen to a selection played and recorded by the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and then design two-demensional pieces of art to “interpret” the music.

This year, students taught by Mrs. Sandy Smith completed projects based on Georges Bizet’s “Habanera,” and the finalists in each grade (pictured below) will be competing against other finalists from schools in West Tennessee.
