Welcome to Economics

I am so thankful and excited to be able to teach your students ECONOMICS

Economics can be a difficult subject. When I was a Freshman at a large state university, I signed up to take Economics. The very first day of class our Professor walked in and wrote this on the board: 60%. Then, he turned around and said to the class: “That is how many of you who will flunk this class.” I dropped the class. 😀

MY goal is to teach your student the basics of Economic theory — and I know we will be successful in this effort. I saw a news story today: “Covid has impacted the international supply chain.” Interestingly, this is why our grocery stores and other stores look somewhat barren. Your students will have an understanding of the term: supply chain. Yes, with God’s grace and intervention, I will do my best to instill in your students a knowledge of Economic theory that will lead to an understanding of that theory that will eventually lead to applications for life – and all with a Christian Worldview.

I pray with all my heart that our students will enjoy learning every day in my classroom; may they take that joy with them throughout their lives. My ultimate goal is to educate the whole student in subject matter, wisdom, character, and spiritual growth so that they will enjoy a high quality of life. May the Lord bless these efforts. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you.” Jeremiah 29:11. May this be our motto!
